Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also instructs and trains. Annie is the only female who has ever won at the CrossFit Games two times. In 2010, she placed in second place. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit and a media star. The popular athlete is the first woman to win the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 as well as 2012. In addition, she is known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was raised by her parents living in Reykjavik Iceland. In her early years she was an avid fan of sports and exercise. She was a participant in numerous school events and earned several medals. She participated for the first time in 2009 in CrossFit Games in California in which she performed well. Annie Thorisdottir was aged 31 (by 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs 67 kg. However, she didn't win a championship and concluded with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed second and took home an Olympic silver medal that same year. Following a long period full of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performances was enough to earn her the title. Annie's outstanding performance in 2012 brought her to a second CrossFit Games victory. This was her second consecutive time she won consecutively. Besides this in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal as well as in 2021, she was awarded a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a trainer and instructor for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. Annie became a celebrity athlete when she gained the attention of.
