Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland's Reykjavik. She's the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also instructs and trains. Annie became the very first female to ever win CrossFit Games on two occasions. Annie was second at the both the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit athlete and a media celebrity is one of the CrossFit athletes from Iceland. She is popular for being the first woman to win in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Her other achievements includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie, along with the rest of her family, was raised at Reykjavik Iceland. As a child she was a huge lover of exercise and sports. She was a participant in numerous school events and earned several medals. In 2009, Annie Thorisdottir participated in the CrossFit event in California. Annie Thorisdottir has 31 years of age (as as of 2021). Her height stands at 5'7" and she weighs around about 67kg. Annie began the CrossFit experience in 2009 in California. In the initial games she performed very well and placed in top 10 among 70. The team was unable to win any awards and ended up 11th in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. She placed 2nd in CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's guidance. As a result of her outstanding performance, she was able to take home the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie was the first woman to ever win consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. In 2014, she also received a gold medal. And in 2021, she was awarded with a bronze. At present, Annie is a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete, Annie has been a face for a number of brands in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae, among other. Her own Youtube page boasts over 1,000 users, posting the videos of her family and trips and training-related diets.
