Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is a Mexican American singer-songwriter and popular actress. Sara Ramirez was raised by her American mother and faced a lot racial taunts that caused her to feel uncomfortable. If she attended school contests and received high praise for her singing at the age of 9 the young girl started to grow more confident. This not only increased her confidence but was also a change in the direction in which she went on to pursue her career. The 22-year-old earned an education from the Julliard School in New York. As she was turning 23, she started her professional career on Broadway in the Paul Simon musical The Capeman. Then, at 23 years old she made her film debut in You've got mail. The biggest achievement of her career was with her portrayal of The Lady Of The Lake as Spamalot's first Broadway production. Not only did she win the Tony Award, but her performance was also highly praised by critics. In the following year she was made the lead character the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her becoming more famous. A well-known performer, she also has released songs and plays. Also, she's spoken out in support of LGBT concerns.
