Sharni is an Australian and American actor. She was born in Sydney, Australia on the 22nd day of July 1983. Her debut as an actor occurred in 2001 when she was requested to be part of the Australian Soap opera Home and Away where she was a minor character in two episodes. The show was able to select her for the leading character on the soap opera in Australia Home and Away due to her performance on this particular part was so impressive that the casting agents wanted to cast her in other roles. She auditioned, but she did not win the part. The same show, Cassie Turner was cast in the role of a troubled teenage girl in foster-care. When she was a teen her fame grew when she was given the major role of Donna Martin as part of the popular show that was commercially successful Beverly Hills 90210. Spelling Television was her father's production business. Because of that role she was a finalist of the two Young Artist Awards. After that, she was a very successful TV actress.
